Project Overview

This project is located in Shanghai Xijiao and was led by Vivian, Design Director of VCD Design. It is a high-end detached villa renovation project integrating architectural appearance, interior design, and garden landscape. The interior area is approximately 376 m², with an outdoor landscape area of approximately 422 m², making it a large-scale residential renovation with a strong indoor-outdoor relationship.

The project takes “Tree House” as its core design concept. Rather than focusing only on decorative luxury, the design reconsiders the relationship between the villa, its interior spaces, and the surrounding natural landscape. The goal is to create a residence where the garden, trees, natural light, and daily living experience feel closely connected.

The interior uses walnut wood, refined wood veneer, textured stone, stainless steel, matte lacquer, and other materials to build a calm and layered residential atmosphere. Through the contrast between warm and cool materials, natural texture and refined detailing, the project creates a modern yet grounded expression of high-end living.
