Project Overview

This project is located near the coast of Mission Bay in Auckland, New Zealand. It is a high-end coastal villa design led by Vivian, Design Director of VCD Design. Facing the ocean view, the residence responds to its site with a clean and contemporary architectural form, allowing the building to sit quietly within the coastal landscape.

Rather than a partial renovation, this project was planned as a custom residential design covering the site condition, architectural appearance, interior layout, courtyard, terraces, and soft furnishing direction. The design focuses not only on creating a luxury seaside residence, but also on balancing ocean views, natural light, everyday living, and residential privacy.

Large windows bring natural light and coastal scenery into the living room, dining and kitchen areas, and family spaces. The interior combines natural stone, warm wood, and refined metal details to create a bright, calm, and sophisticated living atmosphere.
